What does a breast lift involve?
A breast lift, or mastopexy, is a surgical procedure designed to reposition sagging breasts, restore firmness, and improve their natural projection. During the procedure, excess skin and breast tissue are removed to reshape the breast, creating a more youthful and balanced appearance.
Depending on the degree of sagging (ptosis), Dr. Zerpa selects the most suitable incision technique:
Grade I: Incision around the areola.
Grade II: Vertical incision toward the lower fold of the breast.
Grade III: Anchor-shaped incision, ideal for breasts with more severe sagging and downward projection.
